A Counselor, a Companion, a Listener
I believe that I have been entrusted with the mission to help tend to hurt hearts and tired spirits. Walking alongside you as you are grappling with human experiences and needs and might be struggling with powerful emotions. Accompanying your process of getting to know and love yourself and others in the light of who God has made you. As a Christian Myself I know how important it is to have someone who understands the importance and nuances of Faith in your life. I am able to provide support and guidance from this perspective, understanding that the mind is spiritual.

HOW I WORK
At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that change needs to happen in the heart for it to be lasting
You were made for connection, and as such, life is richer and more meaningful when you are able to live connected and in community. Knowing and being known. Only then can you truly, fully grow and become who you were created to be.

While attachment is natural, your attachment to some things such as work, positions and people can become unhealthy to the point of your detriment. Which is why we need to work on unlearning unhelpful ways of relating and learning new and healthy ones.
I can also help you with...

MY APPROACH TO
Purpose-Centered Therapy
Trust and Respect as a foundation
Both are essential component for fostering a healthy and meaningful relationship of any kind. This is why the beginning stages of treatment are dedicated to getting to know you, developing trust and comfort and laying the groundwork for what we will be working on.
Nurture and Accountability are both necessary
We can grow when we feel safe, and secure. When our environment presents the necessary conditions for us to flourish. As such, providing care, and support is part of our work. At the same time, for change to happen it is important for you to recognize your role in the decision making and the consequences.
Reaching the heart is paramount
Real, lasting, and transformational change happens at the heart. This is the reason why we might understand something in our minds, but until it reaches the heart, being accepted and embraced, its power and reality to change us will be limited to non-existent.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME?
In our sessions together...
It is my desire to be able to help create a space where you can come and show up fully and authentically. Eventually being able to put down the masks, armor and guards that this world and life has led you to use in attempts to protect yourself. So that we can take a look together (God, you and me) at what is underneath. That same place that has been hurting, and attending to it. Tending to what needs healing, what seems broken, and replacing what is no longer of help.
